For Tuesdays call, for the point on the impact model of I have prepared
a first concept for discussion. I tried to condense the thinking into
two pdf pages, so that you have something now that you can quickly look
at before the call and we can the discuss the idea of it.
The formula part is just supposed to clarify the concept, so don't take
the actual "math" seriously.
Please do not hesitate to reach out in case you have questions, I am
happy to clarify!

the *GUADEC Call for Papers* is now officially open and I am forwarding you
the e-mail that the organisator (I know him personally) has send me. It
would be great for our project to be there and participate with a
presentation. Can you participate in the preparation of an article
promoting FOSS4SMEs? I could then present it on behalf of the whole team.
Either alone or with the ones that will visit the conference (Brian K.
wanted to).
Please think about it and let me know if you can support this by the 21.04.
Between 26.04. and 01.05. I will be away for Easter holidays, so I plan to
submit our work by the 10th of May.

The GUADEC Call for Papers is now officially open. This year the conference
will be held in Thessaloniki, Greece from 23rd to 28th of August.
This is a great opportunity to share your ideas with the GNOME project, as well
as the wider open source community. You don’t have to be an
existing member of the GNOME project to submit a talk: if you have
something interesting to say about software or technology, we want to hear
from you! If you’re brand new to speaking, this is also a great opportunity
to get started on your public speaking career — we welcome newcomers and
provide a friendly audience.
Subjects that we're particularly interested in include:
1- Application development and deployment
2- Privacy and security
3- Community building and diversity
4- Design of user and developer experiences
5- Use of GNOME technologies outside the desktop
6- Encouraging new contributors
7- Project organisation and governance
8- Use of GNOME by users
However, if there is another subject that you would like to talk
about, we would
still love to receive your submission. Talks can be either 25 or
40 minutes in length, which includes time for questions.

There is also the contact list we used with all the mail adresses. If your
name is not included there, then you probably didnt receive it for this
reason. I suggest then, that you insert your name and save the file by
putting an updated name.
In this way you will receive it for sure next time.

Hi Katerina,
Please, find below the minutes from the monthly call today in the order
of discussion:
Translations:
Units need to be translated by all partners. so the extra languages are
imported. ATL will send to partners guidelines in June on how they can
upload on Moodle.
The project meeting in Brussels is confirmed for September 24th and 25th
September, organized by OFE. The meeting will start from the midday. The
second event will be on September 26th.
OFE will write a 1-2pages executive summary of the O3/A1 report
Dissemination:
Newsletter was sent out on April 2nd and can be found on Keybase.
Partners will translate. The file is on keybase-> foss4smes under the
name "Translations Brochure Website Newsletter". FSFE will send
reminders for the translations. ATL will combine in pdf afterwards.
The 3rd Newsletter is due June 2019 and the 4th in September. FSFE will
send reminders
Events table: All partners are reminded to populate information there.
Reminders about it would be made in each call and when input for interim
reports is needed
Website news section: Information regarding events will be given by all
partners and ATL will include that in the "news section"
OFE is in a process of making the poster
The minutes from the March monthly call can be found on Keybase.
DIT is in a process of preparing the timesheets and the certificates
from the Dublin meeting in pdf and will send to ATL.
DIT is progressing with the assessment and questionnaire and will finish
by May.
O2/A4 IIRC - the final document from SKUNI is already uploaded on Keybase

The Units should be finalised ASAP. DLEARN and TUD should send us their
updated Units for upload.
*Upload in Moodle*: ATL has finished importing Unit 1. Unit 4, 5 and 2.3
2.4. will be uploaded by the end of this week.
*O2/A1 Training Plan: *pending.
*Internal testing of each partner's material*: I suggest that each partner
starts this process as soon as his Unit is uploaded. There is already the *test
plan* developed by ATL here: K:\team\foss4smes\2.
Implementation\Outputs\Output 2\A1 Training course contents\Test Plan. So
if anyone wants changes in the platform please write one single e-mail to
me only summarising the points. I will then forward it to our IT colleague.
*A8 - Publication of Articles:* ATL will submit these days a Poster text
for OpenSym 19. Please see if you can fulfil this task as well (especially
our university partners).
*Dissemination Progress Report (M18):* Everyone please see the e-mail from
Galia on 12.03.19 to send the required information by next Wednesday the
latest. FSFE needs to prepare a report in the end of March.
*O3 - Draft Terms of Reference and Policy Brief:* e-mail from Sivan on
11.03.19. Katerina will provide feedback on the document by end of next
week.
*Timesheets and Certificates of participation – Dublin Meet.:** Pending
from *TUD.
*FOSS4SMEs: Minutes - telco 12.03.19: *Dear colleagues from SKUNI,
concerning your comments on the minutes, if you want them changes, please
consider to update the minutes using 'track change mode' and send them to
me and Brian. (see e-mail from 18.03.19)
*O2/A4 Assessment: *Dear colleagues from SKUNI, thank you for your e-mail
from 15.03.19. Due to proposal submission in new Erasmus+ projects, I was
unable to review the 3rd version of your document. I will do it by
Wednesday.
*Tools (surveys and a model for collection of case studies) by DLEARN**: *The
tools that will help us measure the impact of the entire training system to
the different target groups of this project *will be provided by Francesco*.
These tools must be used in parallel with the assessment tools of SKUNI.
Francesco, when can I have a first draft?
I will be in Berlin until next Tuesday and I will have Internet connection
periodically, so for urgent matters you can reach me in mobile or contact
Ifigeneia.

recommendation report could be drafted. The doc is also on keybase in

You will also see a detailed time plan for this output and I want to
ask you to review this, especially in terms of your deliverable so that
we can agree on a time planning.
