Replace the line
   \usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
with
   \usepackage{pslatex}

Then it uses the PostScript fonts, which are scaleable. They even don't
have to be embeded, so the filesize gets much lower.

Remark: MetaFonts are also scaleable, but they cannot be directly
included into PDF files. So GhostScript pixels them.
