There's been news recently on a UK company hit in the USA 
with something like a electronic shoping basket patent.

Bad news is there is an equivalent patent granted by the EPO. 
If the UK company is not being victimised at home it might 
be because the directive has not yet passed and they risk 
their patent being invalidated in court.
