ich habe heute in irgend einem RSS-Feed folgenden Link erhalten: http://solaptop.com/en/
Da geht es um einen kleinen Intel Atom-Laptop mit Solarzellen der angibt in 2-3 Stunden (bei klarer Sonneneinstrahlung) den Akku zu laden. Das Teil soll wohl zu Beginn in Ghana auf den Markt kommen.
Jedenfalls ist dort ein Ubuntu vorinstalliert. Ich finde das Projekt ganz interessant, zumal das Teil auch preislich nicht zu abgehoben ist.
Was haltet ihr davon?

400 US-$ für ein wassergeschütztes Laptop ist ein Hammerpreis. Wird bei uns wahrscheinlich 599 € kosten, weil wir's bezahlen können, aber vielleicht lasse ich mir mal eins mitbringen.
Sieht auf jeden Fall sehr cool aus, und kann gar nicht mal so wenig. Die GMA3600 ist zwar nichts zum Zocken, aber welche Laptop-Grafikkarte ist das schon? Sehr nett ist der GPS-Empfänger und natürlich die Solar-Panel!
Bisschen mehr RAM könnte sein, und ein Netzteil wär' schon gut, sonst sieht's in den Teilen der Welt, wo nicht ständig die Sonne scheint, dunkel aus, z. B. in Bonn. Die Festplatte noch durch eine SSD ersetzt, dann ist's schon klasse.
