Protokoll vom Fellowship-Treffen in Wien am 17. 2. 2017, 19:05 - 20:40

Das nächste Fellowshiptreffen findet am 17. März ab 18:30 Uhr im
Heinz-Zemanek-Saal der Österreichischen Computer Gesellschaft statt.
(1010 Wien, Wollzeile 1, 1.Stock; bitte bei OCG anläuten!) Die Agenda
starten wir um 19:00 Uhr.
Die Folgenden Änderungen möchten wir wie dargestellt umsetzen. Wir
bitten eventuelle begründete Einsprüche dagegen bis spätestens 6. März
vorzubringen.
Wegen der wachsenden Unzufriedenheit mit den Fellowshiptreffen in Wien
schlagen wir einige Veränderungen vor. Mehrere Leute finden es
frustrierend Aktivitäten zu besprechen, die dann letztlich niemand
umsetzt. Wir wollen keine falschen Erwartungen mehr erwecken und dennoch
weiterhin eine Anschlussmöglichkeit bieten.
Socialising
Das der Einfachheit wegen wieder monatliche Fellowshiptreffen soll keine
Agenda mehr haben und dem entsprechend gibt es auch keine Notwendigkeit
für Protokolle mehr. Dieses Treffen soll nur noch dem lockeren Austausch
unter einander dienen. Leute können vorher über die Mailingliste Themen
ankündigen, die dann am Beginn erwähnt werden. Leute können sich dann
jenen Gesprächsrunden anschließen, die sie gerade am meisten
interessieren. Wir laden aber weiterhin alle ein sich neu
hinzugekommenen Leuten gegenüber vorzustellen, damit die neuen Personen
sich nicht als ignorierte Fremdkörper in einer abweisenden
eingeschworenen Gruppe fühlen.
Wir wollen diese Fellowshiptreffen auch wieder an einem öffentlicherem
Ort als dem ÖCG-Raum abhalten, der doch leider recht abgeschieden ist.
Das Metalab wird gerade renoviert und es wäre danach für unsere Zwecke
vermutlich doch wieder geeigneter ohne Leute abzuschrecken, die mehr
Wert auf Ordnung und Sauberkeit als unabhängige Selbstverwaltung legen.
Gleichzeitig könnten wir den Raum im ÖCG weiterhin für Treffen von
Arbeitsgruppen reservieren, da er optimal dafür geeignet ist.
Jemand in unserer Gruppe äußerte auch die Meinung, dass eine Moderation
an sich gut wäre. (Wie genau die im neuen Setting laufen könnte, müssen
wir testen.)
Zusätzlich kam die Idee auf für jedes Fellowshiptreffen ein öffentliches
Etherpad anzulegen, in das Themenvorschläge eingetragen werden können,
das dann im Laufe des Treffens von verschiedenen Leuten zu einem
Protokoll ergänzt werden könnte.
Die Einladung zu Fellowshiptreffen soll wieder über ein Skript
automatisiert werden. Das nächste Fellowshiptreffen am 17. März soll auf
jeden Fall noch im ÖCG stattfinden.
WG kündigte an eine Arbeitsgruppe zur technischen Umsetzung der neuen
Tools für Ankündigung und Themenvorschläge bzw. kollaborative
Protokollierung gründen zu wollen. (Er wird eine Einladung dazu
aussenden.)
Arbeitsgruppen
Wann immer sich unter uns Leute finden, die gemeinsam im Rahmen des
Fellowships konkrete Projekte umsetzen wollen, können sie nach Bedarf
Arbeitsgruppen gründen, die sich unabhängig organisieren. Um eine
Arbeitsgruppe des Fellowships sein zu können sollte diese Gruppe ihre
Gründung auf fellowship-austria(a)lists.fsfe.org kund tun und ebenfalls
Protokolle von ihren Treffen an diese Mailingliste senden. Eine Gruppe
kann öffentlich nur als Arbeitsgruppe des Fellowships auftreten wenn
ihre Öffentlichkeitsarbeit mit dem FSFE-Team koordiniert ist. (Wir
wollen vermeiden, dass Leute, die offiziell die FSFE vertreten, von
Medien auf Aktivitäten des Fellowships angesprochen werden, von denen
sie nichts wissen bzw. die nicht zu den Zielen und Methoden der FSFE
passen.) Arbeitsgruppen, die offiziell anerkannt sind, werden auf der
Fellowship Wiki-Seite mit einer Kontaktmöglichkeit eingetragen, damit
Interessierte alle vorhandenen Arbeitsgruppen finden und kontaktieren
können.
Mailinglisten
Die Fellowship Austria Mailingliste enthält nicht alle Leute von den
lokalen Gruppen (Wien, Graz, Linz, etc.). Dem entsprechend ist es ohne
Crosspostings unmöglich alle relevanten Leute österreichweit zu
erreichen. Crosspostings sind aber sehr unbeliebt. In Anbetracht der
überschaubaren Anzahl von Diskussionen und Leuten auf allen
österreichischen Listen insgesamt, die sich sowieso großteils
überscheiden, empfindet es die Mehrheit der beim Treffen anwesenden
Leute als gute Option alle österreichischen Mailinglisten auf eine
einzelne Österreich-Liste zu reduzieren, damit niemand etwas
Wesentliches verpasst und keine verwirrungen mehr über die Funktion der
unterschiedlichen Mailinglisten entstehen kann.
WG hat sich bereit erklärt den Vorschlag der Zusammenführung aller
Listen gemeinsam mit den Gründen dafür an die jeweiligen Listen zu
senden.
