WG meinte es könnte hier vielelicht manche interessieren eine Liste mit Shops zu haben, die Hardware verkaufen, die auch sicher mit Freier Software funktioniert:

Leider bietet thinkpenguin.com bei den neuen Modellen keine deutsche Tastatur mehr an. Die anderen tun das sowieso nicht und verkaufen leider ausschließlich ziemlich alte Geräte, die kaum jemand kaufen will. (Mir ist schon klar, dass Libreboot eben auf keinen anderen Geräten läuft, aber ich kann selten jemanden überzeugen ein viele Jahre altes Gerät zu kaufen wenn es zum selben Preis wesentlich "attraktivere" Geräte gibt.)
Ich bin schon froh wenn die Leute Hardware kaufen auf denen wenigstens Ubuntu funktioniert - auch wenn dann proprietäre Treiber nötig sind.
Dafür sind dann Tuxedo und System76 interessant:

mir fällt da natürlich der Hersteller meines Notebooks, Purism, ein – die Produkte von denen liegen zwischen den beiden von dir genannten Kategorien: https://puri.sm/
Ich weiß, die verlinkte Website ist kein Shop mit Produkten unterschiedlicher Hersteller – aber die Produkte von Purism gibts eben nur auf deren Website…
Ein vollständig freies Betriebssystem ist bei denen zumindest eine Selbstverständlichkeit (sie entwickeln ein eigenes, auf Debian basierendes, genannt PureOS).
Mittlerweile gibts auch einigen Fortschritt in Bezug auf Coreboot (zumindest mal für das Librem 13). Es wird zwar nie ein Libreboot- Notebook werden, aber schaun wir mal was die in Zukunft zustande bringen (also mit anderer Hardware). Ich hab da schon echt Hoffnung, auch wenn sie bisher definitiv viele Fehler gemacht haben, besonders in der Kommunikation (ekligstes Marketing inkl. falscher Versprechen).
