Hallo ihr da in dem Internetz,
alljährlich spiele ich mit dem Gedanken, einen eBook Reader zu kaufen. Für epubs und hin und wieder pdfs, oder txts. Und genau so alljährlich verwerfe ich den Gedanken schon bald wieder, weil ich einfach "nichts" finde.
Dabei geht es nicht darum, dass er bestimmte Formate nicht darstellen kann, ein eBook mit DRM-Zeugs wird nicht gekauft. Insofern
Als eher, das ich keine finde, der wenigstens ein wenig offen ist. Beispielsweise ein Reader mit Android unter der Haube, wo es die theoretische Chance gibt, dass hier mal ein befreites System drauf laufen kann.
Kennt jemand vielleicht irgend ein Teil, zu dem die Begriffe "hackable", "free", oder "open", auch nur entfernt passen würden?
