Sehr geehrter Herr Helmel,
Das Wort Publikum kommt vom lat. publicus „dem Volk, der Allgemeinheit gehörig“.
Facebook und dessen Daten gehören nicht der Allgemeinheit. Es ist ein privates Unternehmen und gehört nicht österreichischen Privatpersonen. Es dürfen nur jene an diesem Dienst teilnehmen, die deren AGB zustimmen und damit ihre Daten und Privatsphäre dieser Firma zur Verwertung überlassen. Es gibt eine große Anzahl von Menschen, insbesondere mit hohem IT Wissen, die diesen Dienst aus guten Datenschutzgründen ablehnen.
Da Facebook Teilnehmer daher keinesfalls die Allgemeinheit sind, ist Ihre Bezeichnung "Publikumspreis" für eine Abstimmung, die ein Facebook Profil voraussetzt, entweder eine bewusste Irreführung, oder Ausdruck von Inkompetenz. Beides ist eines Fachverbandes unwürdig. Es entwertet ebenso den Constantinus Award, da sie gerade die aus meiner Erfahrung kompetentesten Fachleute aus der Abstimmung aussperren.

Hui, da scheinst Du ja recht aufgebracht gewesen zu sein weil die Wortwahl schon ziemlich harsch ist: Inkompetenz und bewusste Irreführung zur Auswahl...
Die verlängerte Einreichfrist erweckt bei allerdings den Eindruck, dass sich niemand für diesen Pries interessiert. Anscheinend finden sie nicht genügend Bewerbungen um alle Preise vergeben zu können. ;)

ja ehrlich gesagt finde ich das eine bodenlose Frechheit für eine IT Standesvertretung bei der ich Zwangsmitglied sein muss und dafür zahle. Ich bin es leid meinen Ärger immer nur herunterzuschlucken. Darüberhinaus habe ich und andere noch andere (z.B OSEG) schon voriges Jahr darauf hingewiesen. Antwort war ein Beschwichtigungsmail und passiert ist nichts.

Der Herr Helmel (Chef des Constantinus) hat mich soeben persönlich angerufen und sich sehr nett bedankt für meine Anregungen!
Er versteht die kritische Sicht und er wird es im Vorstand besprechen.
Total nett wie ich finde und nicht selbstverständlich. (insbesondere da mein Mail ja wirklich frech war)
