Hallo Leute,
hier kommt ein neues Update zum SFD-Event am Samstag in Wien:
Gerade sind die 200 nagelneuen Promo-CDs von openSuse 12.2 angekommen. Damit haben wir dann deutlich über 300 CDs zum Verteilen. Wir haben dazu zwei XL-Suse-Shirts, einige Poster, Folder und kleine PC-Aufkleber bekommen. (Die Shirts sind so groß, dass wir wohl nicht viele Leute haben, denen sie passen werden.)
Aber toll, dass wir diese Ausstattung bekommen haben. Wir sollten dafür zumindest auch Fotos von dem Event machen und ich werde dann zusätzlich einen Bericht dazu schreiben. :)
Hat irgendwer von Euch zwei Flächen, die wir mit etwas Basteln - an der oberen Kante verbunden - als Poster-Aufsteller verwenden können?
In Fachkreisen nennt sich sowas anscheinend "Kundenstopper".
Eines der Poster ist nämlich im Din A1-Format. So ein großes Ding ist schwer ohne geeigneten Untergrund einsetzbar...
Ich werde noch versuchen einige SFD-Shirts mit Stefan zu machen, der ja angeboten hat nachhaltige Shirts zum Selbstkostenpreis umzusetzen. (Das hat er auch explizit auf Shirts bezogen, die wir später mal allgemein als FSFE-Fellowship haben wollen.)
Wollen wir eher T-Shirts oder Sweather? Ich habe ja immer den Eindruck, dass Sweather mit brauchbaren Botschaften eher Mangelware sind.
Mir wäre es wichtig eine Botschaft darauf zu haben, die auch Leute verstehen, die keine Nerds sind.

Ich kenne einige Leute, die zwar gerne fsfe.org auf ihrem Gewand stehen haben, sich aber niemals ein Kleidungsstück, auf dem gnu.org steht, anziehen würden. Ich würde daher dringend davon abraten, *beide* Adressen auf dasselbe Gewand zu drucken.

Ich sollte mkr bei Zeiten mal genauer anhören wieso viele wirklich ein relevantes Problem mit der FSF haben. Die stilistischen Unterschiede sind zwar sicher gegeben, aber sind die denn wirklich so schwerwiegend?
Freilich kann ich den Link entfernen, aber dann ist die Frage ob die Version mit dem GNU-Logo überhaupt in Frage kommt...

Es sind nicht nur die stilistischen Unterschiede. Viele Leute haben ein anderes, schwerer wiegendes Problem mit der FSF: Richard Matthew Stallman.

Ich sehe da kein Problem. Es gibt auch Pins mit den GNU darauf, auf denen "Free Software Foundation Europe" steht. Ich persönlich hab das als Manschettenknöpfe.
