Ich habe auch kürzlich noch mal explizit im online Chat von Dell nachgefragt, ob sie noch irgendwelche Notebooks mit GNU/Linux anbieten. Die Antwort war, dass sie das gar nicht mehr täten.
Zumindest eine "Developer Edition" eines "Ultrabooks" von Dell mit Ubuntu gibt es offenbar [0]. Mehr zu empfehlen ist vermutlich ein Gerät von clevo.com, das verschiedene Anbieter rebranden und mit vorinstalliertem GNU/Linux ausliefern [1,2].
Bei Lenovo scheint es ebenfalls unmöglich zu sein neue Notebooks zu bekommen, die ohne vorinstalliertes Win8 angeboten werden.
Ein Lenovo-Modell mit vorinstalliertem Ubuntu kommt auf den englischsprachigen Markt [3,4] - oder ist schon?; auf der deutschsprachigen Seite steht interessanter Weise kein Wort von Ubuntu [5].
