nachdem ich mir heute Abend vorgenommen habe mich näher mit der GPL zu befassen habe ich mich mal ein bischen nach passender Literatur umgesehen. Ergebnis: Genau 1 Buch: http://www.oreilly.de/catalog/gplger/ Allerdings ist ein Buch von 2005 zur GPL 1 nicht ganz das woran ich gedacht hatte. Hauptbücherei ist auch totale Fehlanzeige.
Kennt jemand passende Literatur ? Und ja, auf deutsch wäre bei juristischen Werken schon von Vorteil. ;)

Ich müsste erst etwas nachforschen, aber bilde mir ein schon Werke auf Deutsch gesehen zu haben, die nicht nur die GPL, sondern auch andere Lizenzen (Apache(2), BSD, usw) behandeln. Wir hatten auch diverse Bücher auf den Linuxwochen in Wien im Angebot (leider nur wenige Stücke).

Wie die GPL(v2) u.a im europäischen Raum angewendet wird kannst du u.a unter [1] nachlesen. Dieser Fall wurde in Deutschland vom Landesgericht Berlin behandelt.
Was ich (persönlich) sehr gerne habe ist die Lizenz-Recommonadation der FSF [2], wo grundsätzliche Dinge und Unterschiede bei Freien Software-Lizenzen erklärt werden (nicht nur GPL), es kommt aber wie immer darauf an wie groß dein Vorwissen ist.

In [2] steht vermutlich am meisten über die GPL auf Deutsch (tut mir Leid, Klaus, hatte vergessen, daß es das gibt!) - ob auch schon über GPLv3, weiß ich nicht.

"Passend" ist relativ - das hängt auch vom Vorwissen und Zugang dazu ab (ein Techie wird da etwas anderes brauchen wie ein Jurist ...).

Nur das es auch zwischen .at und .de Unterschiede geben kann.
Ansonsten gibt es noch http://oreilly.com/openbook/osfreesoft/book/index.html - das behandelt auch andere gängige Open-Source-Lizenzen und ist damit insofern nicht ganz unnütz, weil man auch durch die Unterschiede etwas lernt. Ist englisch und deshalb vermutlich eher techie- bzw. fürs eigene Verständnis der "Probleme" verwendbar.
