Hi everybody, I guess most of you have seen this, but I would like to bring this up here anyway... Can't believe the US PTO is really *that* stupid :(( Any comments? I hate them, but we have to use them sometimes. At least we have two strengths of NDA: mild and very specific; or the "you say anything and we own you and your little dog too". I only recall using the latter type once. If anyone has pointers or suggestions on how to safely conduct the sort of business transactions usually covered by NDAs without using them, I'd love to hear them. -- MJR Do you need advice about the Internet or particular net services? Hi guys, I'm 19, and a company wants me to sign a particulary horrible NDA for me to do about 1 week of evening work :( It's good pay, but I've turned it down because of the contract. I'm trying not to burn this bridge, and trying to explain to him why I won't sign it from a technical pov. However I remember an article about Why Not NDA or something, but I cannot find anything on the website. I know this is the wrong place, but I trust you guys - can you help me out with this please. "Associazione Software Libero (AsSoLi) becomes associate of the FSF Europe" The FSF Europe is pleased to announce that the Associazione Software Libero (AsSoLi) is now an associate organization of the Free Software Foundation Europe. The AsSoLi has joined the FSF Europe to actively support its activities and work for Free Software in Europe, beginning in Italy where the association has already begun a compaign providing high-quality information for Free Software. The first and most important task AsSoLi is currently working on is the new italian law 248/2000, which is damaging to Free Software in Italy.
