We have been discussing this here at UCD, especially given that the  
technology on which Henry McLoughlin's[1] (CCed) company was started  
(now called TopClass and supported by WBT systems[2]) was initiated  
in a 1994-ish timeframe.

We are reading the patent at the moment and I have encouraged Henry  
to get involved in the anti-patent discussions and investigations  
going on in this space as his work will likely quash many of the  
claims in their patent.
