The "Digital Business" section of today's FT has an article "Simple way
to install and use an easy system" about Knoppix. Tone is somewhere
between neutral description of what it is and does, and gently positive
about the whole idea. The author of the article, the FT's "anonymous
helpdesk guru", reports Klaus Knopper as saying the two significant uses
for Knoppix are education (quickly turning a computer lab into a Linux
lab), and travel (not having to trust dodgy PCs); he also mentions
repairing broken Windows PCs. Full text might be on the web somewhere,
but more interesting that the article is there at all than its precise
content.
