[Fsfe-ie] Talk on software patents

Ciaran O'Riordan is giving a talk to members of ucd Netsoc on the
current European Union directive on software patents on tuesday the 7th
october at 7pm in ucd (i don't yet know which lecture theater - check
netsoc.ucd.ie).  This is a public lecture open to all, there is no
entrance fee. It is part of a series of talks that we are running this 
semester on the general theme of something like "Legal issues concerned 
with computers". Two other talks (hopefully 28th oct and 18th nov) will 
be on "Data Retention in Ireland" and "The current European Union 
directive on Copyright" and given by Karen Lillington and Ciaran 
O'Riordan respectively, all are welcome.
