How about a one page summary of our wants, signed by as many
as possible? (I'm kinda working a draft for which I plan to hand
over to the list for peer review & alterations)
Good for faxing/mailing/showing to MEPs etc.

I agree, we should grab it asap.
Jan 5th is the 20th anniversary of RMS beginning the GNU project,
it would be pretty sweet if we could found our org on that date.

The 5-person agreement suggestion? (or the democracy)

I'm apprehensive about implying affiliation with any groups
that don't share our purpose. fsf.org and fsfeurope.org won't
allow us to host a subpage on their URL, affs.org.uk probably
would.

I'd opt for fasttracking the ifso.ie instead though.
(comments?)
...or if a linux.ie/page is set up for us should we avoid using the ifso name?

Has anyone here registered a .ie before?

(I'm offering to foot the bill but I don't know the process involved.
Ownership would rest with whoever registers it, ownership would be
handed over to ifso when ifso is founded.)

ciaran.
