I must admit that I did not know about Ring, but as Daniel suggested, I
watched the video about Ring presented in FOSDEM[1].
I am glad that the team at Ring is working on a truly peer to peer
communication and would love to contribute to Ring for GSoC 2016 under
Debian.
I have just now completed building Ring from source along with the gnome
client and am working on my proposal.

Basically I would like to work on these two project ideas involving Ring -
1.Create a Telepathy Connection Manager for Ring protocol[2].
   2.Use ENUM for user discovery[3].

Thanks for kind response. It was an awesome talk. Its work like this that
motivates me to keep contributing to open source.

Regards,
Alok Anand
