Clone the reSIProcate repository

Compile it - if you are running Debian or Ubuntu, you can probably just
use this script to compile:

https://github.com/resiprocate/resiprocate/blob/master/build/debian.sh

and then try tweaking some of the code in one of the test directories,
e.g. resip/dum/test/BasicCall.cxx or basicMessage.cxx
