Hi all,

Thanks to all those who participated and volunteered in the Real-time
dev-room, the Real-time lounge, XSF summit, dinners and the main track
at FOSDEM 2016

This year various things were changed:
- merging the Telephony and XMPP dev-rooms into the Real-time dev-room
- shorter talks (between 20 and 35 minutes) with 5 minute breaks
- more talks were recorded than in the past, although it may not have
been 100% effective (another announcement will be sent on the Free-RTC
list when video is available for download)
- FOSDEM introduced a Code of Conduct

Any feedback about these topics or any other aspect of FOSDEM
organization would be very welcome on the Free-RTC mailing list. Please
consider joining if you aren't already subscribed.

Special thanks to Saúl for spending the whole of Saturday managing the
dev-room and to Guillaume and Adrien from Savoir Faire Linux who
travelled all the way from Montreal to give an exciting live demo of
peer-to-peer RTC in the main track. Thanks also to the whole FOSDEM
organization, sponsors and the countless volunteers who make this event
happen every year.

FOSSASIA[1] is coming up soon, 18-20 March, and there is a need for
funding to sponsor a speaker, possibly myself, to go to Singapore and
talk about RTC topics. If anybody would like to speak or assist with
funding please let me know. Talk submissions are still open[2]

Regards,

Daniel
