We know that Nokia hardware is NOT fully open. See for example the
raffle issue with the Nokia N800 devices (where are they now?)


There are some groups/companies that are investing on GNU/Linux on
handhelds and mobile phones.

Palm is shipping devices with Windows Mobile and Palm OS.
I hope they will ship GNU/Linux devices too. :)
