Today LWN published a copy of "Open Source Catalogue 2007"

Licensed under Creative Commons License (Attribution 2.5), the catalogue
is designed to help companies decide which open source projects are enterprise
ready.

Not all listed software is free software, nevertheless this may be a good
hint also for the Free Software catalog.
