   Did you disagree with the FSF campaign against the BSD dedications?
   http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/bsd.html FDL seems far more extreme.

The BSD license is for software, the FDL is for documentation.  Using
the BSD license with dedications for manuals would be OK.  Using the
same license for software would not.
