GPL software on book CD

Hello,
I'm going to write a book and I want to include GPL software on the book CD.
I already read the GPL and it seems to me, that it would be completely OK,
when I include not only the binaries but the source code of the GPL software.

My questions:
- Is it right?
- Do I need to include the GPL license on CD?
