I don't see a reason to say something stupid like that. This is truely
an opinion and if you want to convince anyone you should base your
argumentation on facts. Saying things like that is just begging to get
flamed, you should not do that on a mailinglist.

Whether texinfo and/or debian sucks is offtopic on this list and I
just gave an example why standards should be free. I think you know
what other things you probably could do with alternative things which
are better in your opinion. If you don't agree that standards should
be free, I had recently a discussion about this subject, read
http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2002/debian-devel-200203/msg00269.html
and the followups if you are interested.

If you want to flame me with offtopic things just do it in private
mail so the list shouldn't bother. If you want tell your opinion don't
hestitate to do that but please don't provoke flames if it isn't
necessary.
