3DSMAX plugins licenses issue

	Hi,

	I have a very simple question for which there does not seem to
be an obvious answer, unfortunately ;-)

	A 3DSMAX plugin is released under the GNU GPL.
	It is distributed in its source form.
	It is distributed as a binary, ready to be used in 3DSMAX.

	Is the compiled version of a 3DSMAX plugin subject to a
license other than the license of the plugin itself ? 

	If yes:

		- why is it so ?  

		- could you send a URL to the license, a copy of it or
		  a pointer to find it ?
