The "Open Source Initiative" uses now a certification mark for a software
applying to one license from the OSI list of license (to the GNU GPL to
some other licence not so free).

http://opensource.org/docs/certification_mark.php

What do you think of that ? This type of initiative can create also a
confusion and an extension of the use of the "Open Source" term for Free
Software.

Why not to create a Freedom certification mark ? for Software released
under a "copyleft" type license ?

This could be an extension to the "Why we speak about Free Software"
initiave ? http://www.fsfeurope.org/documents/whyfs.en.html

just my .2 eurocents,
