Those disclaimers are very common in business email.  And actually
they make sense; in some legislalions an email is considered to be in
the public domain - by adding such a disclaimer the sender changes
this status and has the right to use appropriate laws to go after
someone.

Same goes for web sites and at least in the U.S. you should display a
disclaimer with the /etc/issue - only such a disclaimer makes cracking
the box unlawful.

Yes, those disclaimers are an annoyance.
