Where to Host a free Software

Hi all
I plan to publish an opensource Shop-Software in the next time. I planned to 
take advantage of SourceForge.net, but in the last weeks rises a discussion 
about SourceForge, so that I'm now really in doubt what to do. Is there a 
better place than SourceForge. Is Savannah an alternative for hosting a 
Webbased PHP-Software-Project???
