Donations

That is certainly a worthwhile task. Let's everyone remember that just because
the software happens to be free, there is no reason it should be gratis. :-)
Indeed, in some cases we want the customers to be aware of the fact that the
cost of the software will be substantial, but that there will be a significant
donation to further free software in that price, and whenever they come
across a vendor which does not donate to free software, they should feel that
something is wrong.
