OK great,
I can stay at the hostel as well, not a problem.

Hi all,
I would look to attend the community meeting in November. I've had little input since a joined, but would like to learn more about how I can assist and think this could be a good opportunity.
If you agree, please let me know and I'll organize travel as I'm coming from London.

Also, please do not forget to confirm your attendance by subscribing yourself to the attendees list:

Hi Wiki Caretakers,
I would like to raise the question who is planning to visit the FSFE community meeting. The Summit last year was great fun and I really nice discussions and met a lot of interesting people.
While we have been just three during our Wiki Hackers Marathon in Essen maybe the community meeting is a new chance to get to know each other.
Best Regards,
Thomas

Friendly reminder how to proceed with the booking...
I haven't booked yet. And we are just three... Shall we book a room for four people and hope for the best. Maybe we can add some information while booking and request to have someone with chance mentioning "FSFE/Free Software Foundation Europe Community meeting" (or parts of it) to our room risking that we are just three and have on 'stranger' in our room?
Best Regards, Thomas

I thought full-room bookings mean that one books the room and pays the same amount whether there's one or four people in the room?
Cheers, Johannes
I think it depends on the booking type. You can book either room or bed.
We could book 3 beds in the one booking and stay with others. Or choose to book one room for 4 people.
I have stayed in hostels before with many random people and so far, no terrible stories!

Maybe it's my age showing, but nowadays I prefer a lockable room where I can just leave my stuff lying around...

I had some mails of list and there is another mail conversation i can´t find right now (I'm a little in a hurry now) but I wanted to inform you that I send a Mail to reservation@one80hostels.com and requested a 4 bed dorm and asked a few questions more about payment if just three beds are used and so on.
I'll let you know once I received an answer.
Best Regards, Thomas
Thanks Thomas.
