Hello WikiCareTakers,
while some month ago we had our WikiCareTakers Meeting we noticed that
https://wiki-test.fsfe.org literally shows the same information as
http[s]://wiki.fsfe.org. Currently there is no test-wiki available.
Please have that in mind until we either have abandoned the wiki-test
subdomain or have a new test-wiki in place instead of the current
productive wiki.
Paul, can you please check if we can remove the subdomain or create a
new VM with a test instance? I would prefer a test instance to test
things like moinmoin updates before updating our production system.
Moinmoin 1.9.9[0] got released 2016-10-31 and has security updates
strongly recommended to install.
Many thanks.
Best Regards,
Thomas

Hi all,
I noticed that the wiki theme doesn't have a style for `backticked
text`. I find the layout for such text Github/Gitea/Gitlab uses
extremely helpful to highlight inline code. These pages set the text to
a monospace font, set a light grey background with a little bit of
spacing around it.
Fortunately, moin already seems to give a certain CSS class to
backticked content:
<tt class="backtick">inline code</tt>
Would it be possible to add such style information? Thanks :)
Best,
Max

Hi all,
Would it be possible to increase the time until a user is logged out
after he/she successfully authenticated? It's quite nasty to type in the
credentials several times a day (currently it's 3 hours IIRC).
3-7 days would be a good time frame IMHO.
Thanks and best,
Max
PS: I'm not on the list so please keep me in Cc.

Actually I have put this on my ToDo list after your mail. This will only
require an edit in the python template which is part of our custom FSFE-Theme
anyway.
I will need to warm up with the Moin templating to do this. Meanwhile, if
anyone on the list likes to have a look, you can find our current templates
in:
https://svn.fsfe.org/external-web/style_wiki.fsfe.org/trunk
Afaik, fsfe.py should contain a class or function overriding the edit page.
The repository is writeable for all regular web site authors.

Dear hackers,
please remove the captcha from wiki for logged in users.
This 'feature' drives me nuts and is absolutely mind boggling.
Thanks a lot
Michael
