Hi, Andreas,
I have noticed that you have spent significant time and effort for FSFE lately, and that you've done very good work on a number of occasions.
Since we now have promoted Rolf to be deputy webmaster and a member of the core team, I felt it is important that you know the door is open for you to also deepen your involvement in FSFE if you want to do that.
Frankly, given your good work, your constructive communication style, and the fact that Norway is still a somewhat white spot on FSFE's map, I'd really welcome if you wanted to get more involved with FSFE, and I know some other people of the core team who follow the web/translators mailing lists think alike.
The only thing that currently keeps me from inviting you to the core team right away is this: we have the good tradition that somebody should have had personal contact with at least a few existing core team member before getting invited to join. It adds confidence and makes working together easier.
So if you are interested in getting deeper involved in FSFE, it would be great if we could find occasions where you could meet other people from the FSFE core team or country teams.
Our general strategy is to allow everybody to get as much involved with FSFE as he wants - we don't want to force anybody in, we don't want to keep anybody out, and there's so many levels of involvement that everybody can find his place. Please know that the door is open.
I've CC'd our Swedish team, since this is the only existing country team in the Nordic region so far.
Thanks, Reinhard
