Tldr: For the upcoming I Love Free Software Day 2025 I want to test out something new - a team call for us to discuss ideas that could be realized for the celebrations in 2025. This call will take place on 28th of August, 20:00 (Berlin time) in this BBB-room: https://conf.fsfe.org/b/ilovefs
Here is some more background for those of you who are interested and would like to join me in discussing possible events, meet-ups or new ideas.
For the past two editions of the I Love Free Software Day local groups organised meetings or events. There were 14 different events all over Europe. All of them were organised by you, our local groups or associated organisations. And I have to say this is pretty impressive! The events are an excellent way to celebrate the I Love Free Software Day together, to meet new people and to share our love for Free Software.
For the upcoming edition I would like to discuss ideas with you for events or meetings. The idea is to share some knowledge between local groups about organising an event like a book reading or a gathering with some talks. I would also like to know how I can support you best in realizing your ideas for celebrating I Love Free Software Day with your local group. For this I would like to invite you to join the I Love Free Software Day 2025 - preparation call.
