1. Henrik Sandklef devient membre de l'association FSFE
Henrik Sandklef, qui est un membre de l'équipe suédoise de la FSFE depuis des années, est devenu membre oficiel de l'association. Cela va renforcer la FSFE en Suède du point de vue politique et opérationnel.

2. Le programme de Fellowship est un grand succès
Le programme de "Fellowship" de la FSFE, lancé officiellement le 28 février de cette année, est déjà un grand succès et plus de 300 personnes se sont déjà enregistrées au cours du premier mois. 180 d'entre eux ont activé leur adresse de couriel @fsfe.org, démarré leurs "blogs" sous https://www.fsfe.org et attendent de recevoir leur carte de cryptage personnalisée (en cours de préparation). Si vous ne vous êtes pas encore inscrits pour protéger votre liberté, n'hésitez pas à le faire dès maintenant!
3. Karsten Gerloff commence son internat à la FSFE
Après une première expérience très positive avec Matthias Kirschner, la FSFE est heureuse d'avoir trouvé Karsten Gerloff pour continuer son travail. Karsten étudie les sciences culturelles appliquées à l'université de Lüneburg et travaille en étroite collaboration avec Georg Greve à Hambourg. Son axe de travail est le "Fellowship". 4. Freedom Party à Berlin
Lors de la "Freedom Party" à Berlin, des compagnons (Fellows) et des utilisateurs intéressés ont célébré ensemble le lancement du "Fellowship". Sur invitation de la FSFE et de Newthinking Network, environ quatre-vingt invités ont échangé leurs connaissances dans le domaine des Logiciels Libres. Ils ont aussi assisté à une démonstration de la carte de cryptage et ont passé une bonne soirée.

5. Free Software Workshop à Damas
Karin Kosina et Jonas Öberg ont donné des conférences sur les Logiciels Libres lors du Free Software Workshop à Damas en Syrie. Karin a parlé des aspects économiques des Logiciels Libres et Jonas a traité de l'enseignement des Logiciels Libres au niveau universitaire. C'était une occasion intéressante d'entrer en contact avec la communauté des Logiciels Libres au Proche-Orient et nous sommes heureux de constater que le réseau mondial des Logiciels Libres se renforce de plus en plus.
6. Conférence sur les Logiciels Libres à Istanbul
Une conférence, avec comme thème principal: "Les opportunités que les Logiciels Libres offrent à l'économie turque", s'est déroulée à l'université Bilgi d'Istanbul. Georg Greve et Matthias Kirschner ont eu des discussions très intéressantes avec des activistes locaux de Logiciels Libres et Georg Greve a parlé des aspects commerciaux, pratiques et sociologiques des Logiciels Libres et du projet GNU.
7. Conférence sur les Logiciels Libres à Sarajevo
Alessandro Rubini s'est rendu à la faculté d'ingénieurs de Sarajevo en Bosnie où s'est déroulé une conférence appelée "Logiciels Libres dans une Société Libre". Durant son séjour à l'université, qui avait été sponsorisé par la "Fondazione Willy Brandt" basée à Rome, il a pu nouer les premiers liens avec des protagonistes membres de groupes d'utilisateurs et des membres du personnel de la faculté, liens qui serviront peut-être à établir un chapitre local de la FSFE dans le futur.
8. Linuxforum à Copenhague
LinuxForum 2005 s'est déroulé à Copenhague au Danemark. La FSF Europe a été représentée par Hendrik Sandklef en collaboration avec l'organisation danoise IT-Politisk Forening qui travaille pour la liberté de l'information au Danemark.
9. Le litige "UE contre Microsoft" obtient plus d'attention du public
Après s'être rendu compte que Microsoft allait continuer à traîner les pieds concernant la décision de la Cour Européenne de décembre 2004, la FSFE et l'équipe SAMBA ont décidé de prendre l'initiative et de proposer à la Commission Européenne les conditions à imposer à Microsoft pour la mise en oeuvre de la décision anticartellaire de l'UE. Cette d'initative à suscité un fort écho médiatique très positif pour les Logiciels Libres dans beaucoup de publications majeures, tel que le Wall Street Journal.

10. Georg Greve rend visite à la FSF à Boston
C'est aussi au mois de mars que Georg Greve a pris quelques jours pour rendre visite à l'organisation soeur de la FSFE, la Free Software Foundation aux Etats Unis. Il y a passé un moment avec les employés et les directeurs. Il a aussi participé à la rencontre annuelle des membres de la FSF où il a eu l'occasion d'informer l'auditoire de ce qui se passe en Europe.
