I was wondering if PDFReaders.org and the FSFE considers the pdf reader internal of the Chrome and Chromium browser considers an proper open and/or free alternative?

No unfortunately the internal PDF reader in Chrome is not Free Software.
We already talked with Google about this, but they said that they cannot distribute this software under a Free software License. It would be good for Free Software, if Google would publish the PDF reader part of Chrome under a Free Software license so everybody is allowed to use, study, share, and improve it for any purpose.

Maybe we should tell people to complain to Google about this in the future. If more people complained it would increase pressure on Google...
