Hallo.
Unten steht dann: "2008/10/24: All applications published by me on BeBits are now officially unmaintained."
Dear Bernd,
I hope you do not mind a reply in English. If you do, please let me know and I can have it translated for you.

It is true that some of the free readers are less user-friendly than some of the proprietary readers. However, the free readers will catch up if we support their developers. ☺

We have a model letter[0], but its intended recipients are governmental organisations. However, it should be adaptable for contacting other entities too.

The letter seems fine to me. ☺

KPDF ist auch seit langer Zeit unmaintained.
The last two will be removed before our new site will go live. BePDF will probably stay because BeOS is a rather obscure OS, and it is probably wiser to tell our users about the reader.
Thank you for the feedback! It means a great deal to us that people look for Free Software on our campaign sites. We are especially thankful about the feedback on unmaintained readers, as removing these will greatly enhance the quality of our suggestions.
Furthermore, I suppose we should link to our campaign pages on fsfe.org from the footer of pdfreaders.org, and I am fairly sure we will make the necessary change when time permits.
Good luck to you in your quest to have the invoicer stop recommending non-free software!
Sincerely yours,
Hello Heiki.

Oh, damn sorry, I did not think about language of my posting. :)
I initially thought pdfreaders.org was a project of german community because all I heard about this was about letters to german government websites.
Thank you for your replies!

This is not really true, in general. I think you can donate/help a lot to team that supports Zathura or Xpdf, it will never be a tool that my neighbour would like to use. But of course, good recommandations for Windows are more important to the desired audience.

Found that, thanks.
It's really long. :)

Hallo Bernd,

https://fsfe.org/campaigns/pdfreaders insbesondere: https://fsfe.org/campaigns/pdfreaders/letter.html https://fsfe.org/campaigns/pdfreaders/follow-up.html https://wiki.fsfe.org/PdfreadersLetterCompanies

Also die großteils bestehenden Materialien verlinken.

Das ist ein ganz spezieller Fall. Hab ich auf fsfe-de schon gelesen. :)
