Perhaps you may want to add Skim on your list.

Thank you for your suggestion.
However, we will not add Skim to the list as it uses proprietary OS X components to actually render PDFs.
Sincerely,

Unfortunately Skim is not entirely Free Software. Only the front-end of Skim is available under a Free license, the back-end (its rendering engine), which does most of the work of reading PDF files, is under a separate, proprietary license.
Statements on sourceforge about Skim's licensing only refer to the parts which are Free Software; sourceforge does not host all parts of Skim that are required to make it work, including those parts which are proprietary.
This is why we do not list Skim on pdfreaders.org, although we have been aware of it for some time.
Best Regards, Matthias
Hi,
Thank you Mattias and Heiki for your answers.
I have another question :
In the GPL FAQ (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#GPLIncompatibleLibs) It is said a GPL program can be linked with a proprietary library provided it is a system library.
I understand easily a PDF renderer cannot be considered as a system library. But is it the case for the Apple's GUI library (Cocoa) ?
Regards,
Olivier
