And its me again!
We have an increasingly long list of readers, grouped by platform, with different information bits: operating systems, icons, description, homepage links, market-links in case of mobile, whether they are recommend or not...
This information will be hard to maintain, if not done properly, and I don't think a wiki-site will do.
The cleanest and most future safe way to go, but also the most work probably would be to make a database and have the web-site generate its content from this database. Even more ideal would be to add a administrative front-end to the DB, so that we can edit the information easily (flag something new as recommended, add a reader, remove one). This would make it possible for pdfreaders.org to be maintained solely by volunteer non-hackers, which would be *really good* in the long run. But it is also quite complex I think.
What are your thoughts on this? How do we keep all that information maintained and also serve dynamic content on the first site, if we do not have a database?
