I think this pdfreaders.org website is a good idea but realistically, no one is going to bother trying out 8 pdf readers to replace the one they use.

In my opinion, the effect of this list is that people will say: this is messy, don’t know where to start, so I’ll stick with what’s already installed (adobe?).

You should really add some sort of functionality comparison, and make a rating system (or get the ratings/comments from softpedia?).
