Hi, I just learnt about the website on Linuxfr.org http://linuxfr.org/2009/02/04/24972.html, congrats for this interesting initiative.
I'd thought I'd let you know about BePDF as well. BePDF is an xpdf based PDF reader for BeOS and Haiku with a native GUI (xpdf is used for rendering, but BeOS & Haiku don't use X11).
BeOS was a proprietary OS, but Haiku is a MIT-licenced clone, see < http://haiku-os.org%3E.
BePDF: http://bebits.com/app/1438 Sources are available here: http://bepdf.sourceforge.net/
We also have a PDF writer driver built into Haiku, which has also been made available to BeOS http://bebits.com/app/2494. The sources are available in Haiku's svn: http://dev.haiku-os.org/browser/haiku/trunk/src/add-ons/print/drivers/pdf
While I'm at it, the NetSurf web browser http://www.netsurf-browser.org/ (started on RiscOS, now also supports Linux with GTK, AmigaOS and BeOS/ Haiku) has direct PDF export of web pages using libHaru http://libharu.org/.
Cheers, François.
