Hi Ivan, was good to speak with you again. As promised here a short proposal for an activity you can do in Serbia during those dark days until next year. It is about http://www.fsfe.org/campaigns/pdfreaders/. I would propose to ask people in Serbia to translate the following pages into Serbian: - http://www.fsfe.org/campaigns/pdfreaders/pdfreaders.en.html - http://www.fsfe.org/campaigns/pdfreaders/letter.en.html - http://www.fsfe.org/campaigns/pdfreaders/petition.en.html While doing that others can already look for commercials on Serbian public institution's websites. E.g. by using "site:government.xy acrobat reader" for differnt pages. It will be a problem to open the official bug list <http://www.fsfe.org/campaigns/pdfreaders/buglist.en.html> again, but you can just use the same format. @Nico: Can you sent Ivan an example of how the generated files look like, so he can send you a file with all the institutions and we can provide him the PDFs? Other option is to just send it by e-mail in the beginning and just send those a letter who do not react on e-mails. - Blog and Microblog, about your activity. - Follow-up with the public institutions, often they ask questions about Free Software in general or Open Standards. Hi everyone, apperently I received the answers off-list (see below) and they landed in my spam-box :/ Anway, I am not completely sure what he is trying to tell me. Can someone confirm that the files were replaced, or can someone on our side just convert the stuff by the means I described and give them the files? I think I got a little too technical there. Maybe quality is not the most important thing here[1]. Can someone prepare the letter, so they have something to hang on there wall? It seems rather important to them, and although I don't in general support school rankings and competitions, in this case it might create a good example to other schools in Russia. Who should we put as signee on the letter? MK as German head? Karsten as Prez? Me or Henner as official spokespeople for pdfreaders.org? Any of the interns as the people doing most of the work right now? Hi folks! I'll be in Berlin for the 27th CCC and some time after it. Since you're in Berlin too, I thought I could drop by at your office at some point between 2nd and 4th of January. Is that feasible? Or to get together for a beer or two (even during 27C3)? Or both of it? :) There is a refund request I have for PDFreaders campaign.
