Hi,
There is a foss-gbg mailing list that covers discussion of FOSS in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is coupled to the foss-gbg organization that is a loosely coupled group of FOSS fanatics in Gothenburg or with an association to Gothenburg.
My question is, do we need two lists? This list (goteborg@lists.fsfe.org) is apparently coming back to life, and one of the purposes of this email is to see who's on the list and what kind of interest there is in FOSS discussion in Gbg.
What do you think?
Cheers,
Jeremiah
Hi Jeremiah and others who might receive this,
This list was created for the purpose of coordinating a Gothenburg Fellowship group, but as there does not presently exist such a group, the list should be regarded as defunct.
For all who are interested in discussions and/or meetings around FOSS (mainly from a technical perspective), foss-gbg is a much more suited forum: http://foss-gbg.se/
The political and activist activities of the old Fellowship group, on the other hand, has been continued by Fripost: https://fripost.org
Both organisations, I believe, have monthly meetings during spring and fall.
all the best, Stian (ex-coordinator of FSFE Fellowship Göteborg)
