beh... tutte le opere sono coperte da "diritto" d'autore, quello che cambia è la licenza... e allora: - perché "restringere" l'accesso richiedendo una registrazione *anche* per le opere con licenza copyleft? - in ogni caso, perché tracciare i cittadini che vogliono accedere a documentazioni pubbliche? cosa c'entra questo con il "diritto" d'autore?

come prima... perché mai un sito istituzionale, realizzato per fini istituzionali e pagato con soldi pubblici, utilizza in via esclusiva formati proprietari (violando diverse normative, tra cui il CAD) e richiede applicativi di un particolare fornitore (violando, tra l'altro, le norme sulla concorrenza), contribuendo al digital divide e DISCRIMINANDO i cittadini?
Anche qui, alcuni degli ebook/file ecc. scaricabili hanno il DRM, altri no. Dipende da cosa ha scelto la casa editrice.

I DRM non ci piacciono, quindi dovremmo fare presente questa cosa.
i DRM su documentazioni pubbliche e/o pagate con soldi pubblici sono illegittimi/illegali...
e magari è possibile che ci sia anche il tanto per un esposto alla magistratura e alla corte dei conti, o una class-action, o cose del genere (servirebbe un avvocato capace per valutare...)
Al netto di alcuni limiti (che sono dovuti alle case editrici e al sistema del copyright) il sistema mi pare buono,
scusa ma a me sembra PESSIMO: sono soldi pubblici, per cui non ci deve essere nessuna limitazione di accesso (registrazione, tracciamento) e di fruizione (formati proprietari, DRM ecc.)
inoltre posso dire che i bibliotecari sono tra le persone più sensibili ai temi dell'accesso alla conoscenza, degli standard aperti e del software libero (insomma, cercano di preservare e diffondere la conoscenza dall'inizio della civiltà).
mah... ho esperienze diverse: nel migliore dei casi se ne fregano... e comunque, sensibili o no che siano, ci si deve affidare alla buona volontà dei singoli bibliotecari?
