Hi,
We will be holding our December IFSO meeting this coming Tuesday:
Irish Free Software Organisation Tuesday 17 December 2013, starting 8pm Long Stone pub, Townsend Street, Dublin 2
Hope to see you there!
Ben.
Hi,
I'm new to the list. Should be able to make it on Tuesday. Is there an agenda of items to discuss or is it more of an informal meetup?

Hi Conor,
Great you can come along; look forward to seeing you there. We don't have a formal agenda, although if there are things you'd like to talk about, feel free to mention them on the list beforehand. One thing we might discuss is the ongoing Copyright Review process underway in Ireland, which we've been doing some work on.
See you on Tuesday,
Ben.

Hi Ben,
A talk on Irish Copyright would be informative. I'm not aware in detail of the Irish Copyright Review process, but would be interested to know more about it.
One thing I am interested in is some input or suggestions as to how to have a career in software development whilst respecting free software. I'm a final year CS student and will soon be looking for employment. I would ideally like to work for a company who releases all of there work under a free licence, or else possibly work on my own startup idea. If anyone who could advise me in this it would be very helpful.
See you later!
