Never used them so can't say much about their reliability. Others do use them.
A further thought to that is that AIB do an ebanking service which is similar to WorldPay from the Bank of Scotland. AIB's service takes Laser though, useful for Ireland.
BTW let me be ABSOLUTELY clear about PayPal, they are the spawn of the devil himself, do not care one iota about non-US customers (forget about cheques in euros) and have *stolen* money from me in the past. I hate that company as much as the spam barons and even more than Verisign/Network Solutions - I hate being stolen from.
Besides, most of your donations will likely come from within Ireland, maybe a few from the UK and occasionally the US where they all have credit cards anyway. Me, well they blacklisted my credit years ago and I'm in no rush to change the situation! :)
