Hi,
bin grad beim Lesen meiner RSS-Feeds auf einem seltsamen Banner hängen geblieben, einmal Schwarz-Rot-Gold und drauf der Claim "Deutschland testet Linux". Der Banner leitet dann auf die Seite https://www.inside-linux.de/linux-einstieg-lp.php weiter (Tracking-IDs entfernt). Das ganze erinnert vom Aufbau sehr an diverse "Volks"-Aktionen der Bildzeitung gemischt mit Abofallen... Man schließt auch hier übrigens offenbar ein Abo ab, da steht beim Datenschutz ganz unten nämlich
"Die Daten, welche Sie in das Formular auf dieser Seite eingeben, werden zur Abwicklung Ihrer Bestellung und zur weiteren Verwaltung Ihres Werk-Abonnements dauerhaft in elektronischen Datenbanken gespeichert."
Mit Linux ist übrigens Ubuntu gemeint. Aber auch sonst werden die Trademark-Halter nicht genannt.
Was haltet ihr davon? Kennt ihr den Menschen der sich da abbildet?

"Hinter Linux steckt eine riesige Gemeinschaft von erfahrenen Entwicklern: 70 % von ihnen arbeiten bei namhaften Firmen wie etwa IBM, Intel oder Novel." (Der Typo bei Novell ist original.)

Das klingt doch schon realistischer (manches andere allerdings eher etwas zu vereinfachend).

Ich glaube die beiden Aussagen widersprechen sich für den Autor nicht. Tagsüber machen sie nur unbefriedigenden Schrott, und abends gehen die MA von IBM, Novel(l) und Intel nach Hause und hacken den Linux-Kernel. ;)

Sie bieten kostenlose Newsletters mit Werbung und kostenpflichtige Kurse, querbeet. Ich habe die beiden Newsletters "Linux" und "Open Source" abonniert und da steht schon ab und zu etwas nützliches. Etwas eigenartig ist z.B. Werbung für Windows auf Seiten mit Titeln wie "Entsorgen Sie Ihr Windows und brauchen Sie Linux!"
Ich denke das Linux-Engagement ist gut, auch wenn es vielleicht nicht der "reinen Lehre" entspricht.

Da es heißt "auch Windows 7 wird Ihre Probleme nicht lösen" existiert die Seite wohl schon länger. Also -> /dev/null

das ist schon ziemlich gruselig, was da an "Inhalt" rüberkommt. Auf einer anderen mailinglist wurde das diskutiert, da dort jemand via Google adwords drauf aufmerksam geworden ist. Ergebnis der anderen Diskussion war in etwa: Inhalt ist eher grenzwertig, aber die aggressive Präsentation macht auch irgendwie neugierig.

ist mir suspect. Ich meine von denen flattern auch so Sachen wie
'Abmahnung, Kündigung schreiben leicht gemacht' ins Haus. Eine Probe bestellt und Zapp, im Kleingedruckten ist ein ABO Abschluß versteckt.
AWi Verlag war damals mit LinuxOpen & UnixOpen ähnlich. So Heftchen ca. 10 Seiten und über 20 DM. (Gab es nur als ABO, nicht im Kiosk)
