Hallo allerseits,
da ich mich gerade neu auf dieser Mailingliste angemeldet habe, möchte ich dem guten Beispiel vieler anderer folgen und mich erst mal kurz vorstellen.
Ich studiere seit diesem Semester Informatik an der HTW Dresden und engagiere mich im StuRa der Hochschule [1] für Datenkultur, Ökologie und Nachhaltigkeit.
Neben freier/ OpenSource- Software bin ich auch bei der Wikipedia aktiv.
Deshalb freue ich mich umso mehr, mit der HTW eine Hochschule gefunden zu haben, in der Informatik unabhängig von vermeintlichen Monopolisten gelehrt wird und die einen Schwerpunkt auf freie Betriebssystem wie GNU/ Linux setzt.

Das interessiert mich. Wie sieht das denn in der Realität aus, dass "ein Schwerpunkt auf Freie Betriebsssysteme" gesetzt wird? Das heißt die Campusrechner laufen auf Freien Betriebssystemen und/oder wird auch in der Lehre die Studenten dazu angehalten Freie Betriebssysteme zu benutzen?
