Ich bin für den 21. September als Experte in die Projektgruppe "Interoperabilität, Offene Standards und Freie Software" des Bundestags eingeladen. Dort werde ich ein kurzes 2 Minuten Eingangsstatement halten und danach Fragen der Projektgruppe beantworten.
Vorab wurde ich gebeten, folgende zwei Fragen schriftlich zu beantworten. Ich muss die Antworten bis Freitag Abend fertig haben:
- Die Free/Libre or Open Source Software(FLOSS)-Impact-Studie (http://www.flossimpact.eu/) zeigt, dass freie Software für die Europäische Wirtschaft enorme Potenziale im Milliardenbe- reich bietet. Wie hat sich dies seid 2007 entwickelt? Wie kann Deutschland diese Potenziale stärker nutzen? Wie gehen andere Länder vor, um diese Potenziale freizusetzen?
- Es gibt viele Definitionen für „Offener Standard“. Welche Definition beschreibt Ihrer Mei- nung nach am besten, was mit Interoperabilität gemeint ist?
Wenn ihr noch Kommentare, Hinweise, etc. zu den Fragen habt, dann schreibt diese hier.

Meine Ideen:
Die von der FSFE unterstützte Definition darlegen, Aber auch das Europäische Interoperabiltäts-Rahmenwerk (Ich glaube hier passt der Bindestrich, trotz des Bindungs-s ;-) ) loben.
Auf die Gefahren von FRAND hinweisen, vor allem für Freie Software.
Und schließlich bemerken, dass die Verwendung Offener Standards beispielsweise in der öffentlichen Verwaltung wichtiger ist, als der Wettbewerb um die beste Definition.
