Firefox, so wie er von mozilla.org angeboten wird, ist keine Freie Software. Da ist immer schon proprietäre Software dabei.

Naja, der Quality Feedback Agent (auch "Talkback") ist proprietär, und der ist ein unwesentlicher Bestandteil von Firefox, der in Form eines Add-ons mitgeliefert wird.
Gut ist das sicher nicht, aber die Aussage "Firefox von Mozilla ist keine Freie Software" erscheint mir in dieser Allgemeinheit doch zu stark.

OK, war nicht präzise genug: Firefox, so wie er von mozilla.org in binärer Form für (zumindest) win32 angeboten wird, zwingt mich dazu, eine EULA abzunicken. Siehe auch [1].

Naja, das neue Problem ist fundamentaler als, der alte Debian streit. Mit der neuen EULA war das Firefox binary effektiv proprietaer. http://spot.livejournal.com/ gibt einen guten Ueberblick.
