Hallo zusammen, wie sieht es eigentlich mit freier Software auf Tablets bzw. Convertibles (Tablets. an die sich eine Tastatur anstecken lässt, um sie als Netbook zu benutzen) aus? Ich habe gesehen, dass vom KDE-Projekt die Benutzeroberfläche Plasma Mobile in Arbeit ist, hatte aber noch keine Gelegenheit, die auszuprobieren.
Handybetriebssysteme bzw. -oberflächen halte ich für Tablets und insb. Convertibles ungeeignet, da ich die Geräte teilweise wie ein vollwertiges Netbook benutzen will. Somit scheidet die Oberfläche von Android aus. Was gibt es da sonst noch?

FedLet (fedlet) Fedora für ARM(7) - mal "suchmaschine" fragen. Das ist IMHO 'ne "One Man Show"

GNOME 3 ist finde ich auch per touch recht gut zu bedienen (und die Bildschirmtastatur müsste mittlerweile auch funktional sein)
Ausserdem hat enlightenment auch eine mobile Oberflächen-Version. (https://www.enlightenment.org/ ist mittlerweile sogar schon auf Version 0.20)
Aber um das zu installieren braucht man wohl erstmal ne Tastatur...

Es gibt auch verschiedene Ubuntu-Versionen für Touch-Bedienung, angefangen vom Stock-Ubuntu mit Unity (was sich sehr gut für Touch-Bedienung eignet) bis zu ubuntu-Mate etc. für verschiedene Architekturen.
Einfach mal die Suchmaschine fragen...... wir haben z.B. einen Dell AllinOne PC mit Touchscreen auf dem alle k-x-ubuntus super laufen. Die Oberfläche kann man dann an sein Persönliches empfinden anpassen.

Einfach mal die Suchmaschine fragen...... wir haben z.B. einen Dell AllinOne PC mit Touchscreen auf dem alle k-x-ubuntus super laufen. Die Oberfläche kann man dann an sein Persönliches empfinden anpassen.
Canonical arbeitet mit Unity 8 an einer echten Konvergenz. Damit sollte es auch möglich sein ein Tablet zu bedienen.
Schade ist, dass das Vivaldi Tablet Projekt damals gescheitert ist.

Das darf man aber nicht mit den allgegenwärtigen Tablets verwechseln. Diese Geräte werden derzeit im Prinzip nur von Android unterstützt, während dieser AllInOne im Prinzip einem normalen PC entspricht.
